the gist:

the cofounders of PARTIFUL worked for Thiel's most murderous baby, PALANTIR.

4 of these 8 Partiful people worked for Palantir

alt text: 8 partiful employees, lookin cute around their o.g. logo; i've stamped PALANTIR across half their faces, cuz literally *half* the people in this lil core-employee photo worked there, insane

they've hired more palantir ppl, too! in 1 small company, palantir alum include partiful's CEO, CTO, head of business & product ops, founding engineer, & at least 2 product engineers (if they've removed palantir from work history, backups here).

The cofounders of Partiful worked at Palantir

alt text: right side of image is my all caps: "YES, THE COFOUNDERS OF *THIS* WORKED AT PALANTIR FROM 2014-2018. WITH THAT TRAINING, JUST ASK SNOWDEN OR THE CIA OR IOF: PARTIFUL CAN DEF TRACK YOUR SEXY GUESTS!!!" the left side is a screenshot of partiful's (now-former) homepage: purple-y background, "INSPO" link, picture of phone screen with partiful guests dropping emojis & talking about "beliebers," stylized text reading, "Highkey parties, lowkey planning; the sexiest way to get all your guests on the same page (literally)," & a bright orange "CREATE YOUR PARTY PAGE" button.

why do we care? bc
PALANTIR
= BAD.

Palantir = Bad

alt text: image of a slew of palantir headlines with block text saying "PALANTIR: BAD" layered over top. search page for "image 5" for full list with subheadings; headlines read: “CAMBRIDGE ANALYTICA IS BAD, BUT PALANTIR IS FUCKING TERRIFYING (note: not written on slide, but that one’s prolly my favorite lol) + “PALANTIR ENABLES IMMIGRATION AGENTS TO ACCESS INFORMATION FROM THE CIA" + “PETER THIEL’S PALANTIR WAS USED TO BUST RELATIVES OF MIGRANT CHILDREN" + “Palantir: the 'special ops' tech giant that wields as much real-world power as Google" + “Israel-linked CIA-funded Palantir goes public, making espionage mainstream” + “Palantir's CEO Finally Admits to Helping ICE Deport Undocumented Immigrants" + “Palantir powers Ice immigration raids, the defense sector and police surveillance. It is the big tobacco of the tech world."

PARTIFUL leveraged their PALANTIR past into CASH; their biggest funder's Andreessen Horowitz, aka a16z.

(yes THIS andreessen, or THIS or THIS)

a16z = ALSO BAD.

Partiful's lead investor is Andreessen Horowitz

alt text: my caps, "PARTIFUL'S LEAD INVESTOR IS ANDREESSEN HOROWITZ, AKA A16Z" above screenshots of two headlines: "Andreessen Horowitz just hired Daniel Penny, the ex-Marine who was acquitted after choking a man to death on a New York City subway," followed by "Major Tech Investor Calls Architect of Fascism a ‘Saint’ in Unhinged Manifesto," latter with visible "Janus Rose" byline.

(yes: a16z hired Daniel Penny. not because of his job skills––their press release said he'll need to "learn"––but explicitly because he killed Jordan Neely. partiful is funded by a company willing to train an unqualified hire *because* he killed a homeless Black person. when i say The Worst People...)

from the atlantic: no need 2 hide palantir past from party girls!!!

"[Partiful's CEO] wouldn't name the investors who contributed the company's $7.4 million of seed funding, but Partiful has since closed a $20 million Series A round, led by the famous venture-capital firm Andreessen Horowitz. Partiful is led by several women, including Murthy and her co-founder Joy Tao, who formerly worked at Palantir, the super-secretive data-analytics company co-founded by the far-right billionaire Peter Thiel (a fact that didn't appear in the New York Times story). When I asked Murthy about this, she said it's not something she and her team hide, because it appears on their public LinkedIn profiles: 'It tends to not be a focus, since enterprise-data-analytics software is pretty far from parties.'"

israel debilitates via guns & bombs & borders, but also w/ help from amerikkkan PALANTIR's predictive policing; PARTIFUL made millions from this war machine's alum club.

to me, that's reason enough to ask PARTIFUL to clarify their stance on genocide & to require accessibility info for events on their platform––a tiny gesture for the millions disabled by PALANTIR's terror-reach.

@shreyamurthy joking on twitter about telling VCs but not candidates she worked for Palantir

alt text: screenshot of partiful's ceo quote-tweeting some person (@lmushin) saying "Palantir's mafia is so good that even Partiful was started by an alum." partiful ceo follow-up says, "me talking to VCs: I used to work at Palantir." me talking to candidates: "I used to work at a large tech company."

  (tee-hee!)

aside from that... why does a16z want PARTIFUL to know who's going to yr parties? idk :/ creepy af

p.s. they think we're idiots

after 9 months of ignoring your tagging them in story shares, partiful's CEO responded to someone about this on twitter: "hey! definitely *not* funded by Palantir if that's what you mean. and never worked on the government business there anyway. left for good reasons and happy to be working on something more values-aligned now. hope this helps." *one week* later, palantir posted about an upcoming "fireside chat" featuring palantir's chief architect in conversation with partiful ceo shreya murthy & 3 other palantir alum... including a link to the fucking PARTIFUL for the "PALANTIR TALENT MAFIA" event. this was october 2024––a full year after the full-page "PALANTIR STANDS WITH ISRAEL" nytimes ad.

"values-aligned"... k

Palantir tweet about mafia event with Partiful CEO

alt text: screenshot of @PalantirTech tweet: "Join Palantir Chief Architect Akshay Krishnaswamy (@hyperindexed) and company alumni for a fireside chat with @southpkcommons. On the agenda: how Palantir's renowned entrepreneurial environment empowered these founders to build their own ventures, what they're working on now, and what's next for the future of tech," followed by a partiful link. image shows 5 people––current palantir chief architect, partiful's ceo, & 3 other palantir alumni––with the text "SPC x Talent Mafias: Palantir." across the bottom are 4 logos; Palantir & Partiful bookend the image.

yes, telling people about surveillance using cop apps = a bummer; let's not help another creepy tech company dominate the market without telling us who tf they are!!! also bless whoever made that last shortcut, i only found out it existed when i tried to use the slug & found it was already taken :')

plz continue to email me any gossip, contacts, links, & leads, subject “DRONE PARTY”... appreciate reporters who have reached out, will try to get back to folks soon; it's helpful to know a pitch or angle!

partiful investors

we don't know all of partiful's funders because they aren't telling: as mentioned in the atlantic, partiful isn't sharing details about their first two rounds' $7.4 mil (tho maybe scott belsky contributed?). according to pitchbook & others, VC firms who invested in their $20 mil series A round (w/ $100mil valuation) include...

a16z, aka Andreessen Horowitz: lead investor; i've already ranted about these MFs plenty on this page, but andreessen calls himself an "unpaid intern for DOGE" (horowitz went in on trump too), a16z very loudly hired daniel penny for killing a Black person, etc. just like... vile. a16z is known for investing in companies led by palantir alumni, including anduril, archblock, bold, cape, decagon, hex, elevenlabs, nash, sourcegraph, tandem chat, aaaand partiful.

• Abstract Ventures: ...idk about this tbh

• ACME Capital: founder scott stanford was an investor in (surprise!!) palantir.

• GV / Google Ventures: VC investment wing of google / alphabet.

• Initialized Capital: founder garry tan was employee #10 at palantir & designed the palantir logo; he's now prez of startup accelerator y combinator, which is also known for funding a slew of palantir alumni. (this article about former-a16z-er balaji's dreams for "tech zionism" dedicates a lot of space to tan & his recent uhh ~sitch~)

(lotsa vc / startup sites list benchmark & new enterprise associates as partiful investors, but techcrunch says that's just cuz of an error in pitchbook data so not listing here.)

does this list include the name palantir??? no, i do not have evidence that palantir directly writes them checks today... my claim is that their hella VC money comes from their affiliation with palantir, which is known for strong alum networks & a slew of startups getting funding from exactly these people; see "Palantir Mafia" (2025), "Palantir Mafia" (2024) "Palantir Pack" (2022). partiful continues to financially profit from palantir, most immediately through lead invester (& thiel bestie) andreessen.

clarifications

my original IG post & this page have reached far beyond my usual hangs––like there are people reading this who are totally baffled that i find it self-evident that palantir = bad––so i should clarify:

• i'm a leftist & abolitionist; i think mass death in palestine is a bad thing; my role is to push for change. i'm not saying anyone should be judged or ostracized forever because of their past employment (i mean hey snowden was a spook! 43 israelis outed unit 8200! after seeing palantir jump into genocide, juan sebastián pinto spoke out against palantir's AI!), but i do believe the left has consumer power, that we can + should pressure companies to make changes, & that in no world should a company run by palantir alum *assume* they'll get our business without clarifying their own values.

• partiful is not an israeli company––rather, the cofounders' former employer (& reason they've strolled into many millions in VC funding) palantir is directly involved in the genocide in palestine. (see: "How US Intelligence & an American Company Feed Israel’s Killing Machine in Gaza" + "Thiel's Palantir, Israel Agree Strategic Partnership for Battle Tech.")

i have no way of knowing if partiful will sell your data, but requiring that people share user data in order to even access an event location makes them extremely dangerous for activist communities; my bet is that they'd hand that sh*t over in a heartbeat if subpoenaed.

• we can also just not use a thing bc its vibes & hangs are fuckin off!!! like i get that no one uses "X" (lol) anymore, but as of april '25, partiful's CEO only follows 166 people––so scrolling through, it's weird to see so many bios name-dropping a16z or palantir, or like, *being* marc andreessen or garry tan... i get that some people are down with that––partiful can keep the zionist + IDF + technofash events!––i am simply not tryina hang with those folks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

otherwise i don't really know much about what either of them did at palantir. they cover the two types of palantir engineers: joy tao was a product engineer, & murthy was "Enterprise Lead," "Deployment Lead," & "Business Operations & Strategy"––idk what that means, but i assume FDE / forward deployed (like the doge boys), at least some of that time with kurt schwarz's r2d2 team. between palantir & partiful, murthy did product deployment for an AI company (asapp, 2018-2019) & tao was a software engineer at facebook (2018-2020).

more palantir ppl

the cut recently published "Wait, Partiful’s Founders Worked at Palantir?" (12ft.io if paywall'd) & partiful's CEO showed up in the comments QUICK, along with many pals (partiful investors & palantir alum) & defenders in e.g. banking, mckinsey, israeli propaganda (even a cofounder of scooter braun's nova exhibit)...

a frequent refrain: why only go after this palantir-alum-founded company?? partiful's CEO started that, saying it's cuz they're "female founders," but for me it's simply bc i haven't encountered other palantir-alum companies in leftist spaces... but if more accountability for palantir alum is what the people want, i'm happy to oblige!!! i'll get a spreadsheet up eventually; so far used "Palantir Mafia," "Palantir Mafia," & "Palantir Pack," plus companies started by folks i found in the cut comments. an incomplete start:

longer note

TL;DR for the “apolitical”: partiful will be widely considered cringe af soon enough; quit now & lord it over yr friends forever 🥰

LONGER TAKEAWAY: i get that we’re all v tired & u don’t wanna wait 10 months for a new mobile-friendly platform bc your Important Party is soon –– but there’s a possible timeline that has drone party as ubiquitous as meta (links to compare series A funding), palantir’s ceo bragging about their integral role in gaza’s incineration, andreessen horowitz picking every president, & you in the streets protesting these f*ckin people…

so if u wanna use partiful so bad, make them TELL YOU that they think palantir’s f*cked, or communicate ANY real positions!!! y’all have been tagging them in stories sharing this post for the last 1.5 weeks [update: shared 2200x in 5 months, & u cheeky mfs tagged them a *lot* :')] [>5k shares as of feb '25], & all i’ve seen them say back is that they’re having a great time celebrating mardi gras ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ u don’t need to help the hella money'd spy tech co corner a market without asking a few questions!!

other things:

1) at least *6* partiful people are former palantir employees –– partiful's CEO, CTO, head of business & product operations, founding engineer, & 2 product engineers (if anyone removes palantir from their work history, check folder for pdf of older version) –– & that's out of only ~20 employees total, & just using public linkedins. i still don’t wanna get in the weeds about individual employees (paying rent is hard), but it’s not like, a ~fluke~

1b) no, they did *not* all work there at the same time –– unless partiful’s cofounders are lying about how long they worked for palantir. tho relatedly…

2) if u think “all tech is compromised by evil money” then sweethearts while i agree there are lots of baddies out there & it’s a hard time to be alive, it is simply not true that every party app is ex-palantir co-founded, recruiting additional ex-palantir employees, & getting millions of dollars from palantir partners / alum while palantir takes out full-page pro-israel ads in the new york times during an ongoing genocide. the situation is in fact... ~unique.~

3) thing i’m *not* saying = "partiful is DEF misusing your data” (...not yet lol). i AM saying this is a GREAT time to exert pressure on companies if they want your business; make them earn it!!!! ...& if they fail, chase them outta town!!!

4) partiful has offices in nyc & los angeles rn, but they’re hiring “party evangelists” (lol ew) in boston, chicago, & london (<jobs.lever.co>), & they have PILES OF CASH; again not tryina judge individual workers (i, too, would love to know how i’m gonna pay rent next month), but since these ppl are coming for yr scene soon enough… why help them with rollout for free?? resist adopting the platform & maybe down the line they will help pay your rent before fading into irrelevance!!

5) re: the “palumni” vc firm, their (unpaid, lol) internship job ad says “Yes, you will spend a lot of time on Partiful.” again that is… all i’m saying

6) you can look stuff up about partiful's latest $20 million in a series A round led by andreessen horowitz aka a16z –– & learn more about andreessen's quaint views in janus rose's vice article, "Major Tech Investor Andreessen Calls Architect of Fascism a 'Saint' in Unhinged Manifesto" –– but they aren’t saying where they got the first $7.4 million. aren’t you CURIOUS???? i am, personally, v curious

okay there are original images w/ full text at bottom, sorry this is clunky!!!, just a workaround for now... (if i had $20 million i can promise u it would look *real* nice)

page timeline:

2024-01-25 –– initial post here (on @nyc_noise). i try to put stuff on site before (/mostly *instead of*) cop app, just still working out blog stuffs on new site!!

2024-02-05 –– most of longer note

2024-07-24 –– if u can't access something linked, i've prolly added it to this folder, shortcut link = tinyurl.com/droneparty

2024-10-13 –– this has been getting traction again lately, so i finally added a big ~mobile friendly~ overview 2 top, plus shortcut!

2025-01-04 –– ditto but cleaned up & added a table of contents, plus the p.s. about this palantir mafia business; also added patents in early january

2025-02-05 –– post recently blew up in the kink community (hell yeah); i haven't added anything new to this page, but mentioned in instagram stories that partiful's biggest funder, andreessen horowitz, recently hired daniel penny... & a16z literally said that they hired him because he killed jordan neely, because penny "acted with courage in a tough situation." u can click here if you wanna read more of my thoughts on that, but the gist is that IT IS NOT "BRAVE" TO BE SO DISTRESSED BY SOMEONE ELSE'S PAIN THAT YOU KILL THEM; IT IS FUCKING UNHINGED & DANGEROUS TO BE THAT HYSTERICAL, & a sign that some people need to GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER.

also wild that we're living in an age of meltdowns over DEI –– which is necessary because WE ONLY OUTLAWED SEGREGATION IN THE 1960s & much of the country is still segregated anyway!!!!!! we still literally still have SLAVERY???? so yes we need people to ensure that companies aren't breaking these fucking barely-achieved & rarely-enforced laws!!!!!!!?? –– & in the meantime partiful's money daddy is like, we're going to hire this very unqualified person simply because he did murder!!!

(i know i get worked up, but i'm not even exaggerating: they legit said they're going to TEACH HIM the business of investing ........ like when someone takes on a clueless-but-connected nepo baby except it's about riding the press coattails of his killing a Black person ???? UGH UGHHH UGH JFC UGH truly so vile)

2025-03-04 –– still really upset about this penny stuff so i added an a16z image about it.

2025-04-27 –– strikethrough on 2020 hypothetical, but i archived the pre-edits page on the wayback machine so you can see exactly what was here before i made changes.

2025-04-29 –– separate sections for CTO patents, added investors + clarifications

image 4 alt text, left: shows a screenshot of partiful's homepage: purple-y background, "INSPO" link next to login, picture of phone screenshowing someone's partiful event page talking about "beliebers." main partiful screenshot text is "Highkey parties, lowkey planning; the sexiest way to get all your guests on the same page (literally)"
image 4 alt text, right: YES, THE COFOUNDERS OF *THIS* WORKED AT PALANTIR FROM 2014-2018; WITH THAT TRAINING, JUST ASK SNOWDEN OR THE CIA OR IOF: PARTIFUL CAN DEF TRACK YOUR SEXY GUESTS!!!

image 5 alt text: a bunch of screenshots of palantir headlines, with “PALANTIR: BAD” in angled block letters over them. the mostly & fully-visible headlines & subheadings read:
• “CAMBRIDGE ANALYTICA IS BAD, BUT PALANTIR IS FUCKING TERRIFYING. With its vehicle tracking software, the company Peter Thiel co-founded knows you ran that headlight” (note: not written on slide, but this one’s prolly my favorite lol)
• “PALANTIR ENABLES IMMIGRATION AGENTS TO ACCESS INFORMATION FROM THE CIA. According to a set of funding documents, ICE agents can use a Palantir system to access data held by agencies that possess highly classified intelligence, including the CIA.”
• “PETER THIEL’S PALANTIR WAS USED TO BUST RELATIVES OF MIGRANT CHILDREN, NEW DOCUMENTS SHOW. Palantir previously claimed its software was strictly involved in criminal investigations as opposed to deportations. This was false.”
• “Palantir: the 'special ops' tech giant that wields as much real-world power as Google. Peter Thiel's CIA-backed, data-mining firm honed its 'crime predicting' techniques against insurgents in Iraq. The same methods are now being sold to police departments. Will they inflame already tense relations between the public and the police?”
• “Israel-linked CIA-funded Palantir goes public, making espionage mainstream. The firm is closely linked to the CIA and Israel, while standing accused of multiple counts of human rights violations.”
• “Palantir's CEO Finally Admits to Helping ICE Deport Undocumented Immigrants. Palantir has tried to downplay its role in ICE's detainment and deportation of immigrants for years, but Alex Karp said the quiet part loud at Davos.”
• “Palantir powers Ice immigration raids, the defense sector and police surveillance. It is the big tobacco of the tech world” (note: okay yeah that’s another pretty harsh burn)

image 6 alt text: PALANTIR'S SURVEILLANCE TECH FUELS DEBILITY: THE SYSTEMIC PROCESS OF UNEVENLY-DELIVERED INJURY & BODILY EXCLUSION. ISRAEL DEBILITATES VIA GUNS & BOMBS & BORDERS (& MORE), IMPAIRING MOBILITY THROUGH CHECKPOINTS & BLOWN LIMBS, & THE HELP OF AMERIKKKAN PALANTIR'S "PREDICTIVE" POLICING, MAPPING SOCIAL MEDIA + NETWORKS TO CENSOR & DETAIN. PARTIFUL MADE MILLIONS FROM THIS WAR MACHINE'S ALUM CLUB: *BRUTAL*

image 7 alt text: I TOO LIVE IN A WAR MACHINE & KNOW THE STRUGGLE TO ATONE; I WISH PARTIFUL LUCK EARNING OUR PATRONAGE! MY IDEAS:
• CLARIFY STANCE ON GENOCIDE AS PALANTIR INCREASES SUPPORT TO ISRAEL
• *REQUIRE* ACCESS INFO AS TINIEST GESTURE FOR THE *MILLIONS* DISABLED BY PALANTIR'S TERROR-REACH
THE LEAST U CAN DO IS TELL PEOPLE IF THEY *COULD* ENTER THE PARTY –– IF IT WEREN'T BEING HELD ON THEIR NECKS!

image 8 alt text, left shows weirdly ad-copy-vibe headlines & subheadings about partiful; the atlantic’s reads “The Internet, but for Hot People”; the new york times, “Is This the Least Cringe Option to Get People to Your Party?” & the washington post, “Partiful wants Gen Z to move in a new social direction this New Year’s Eve
image 8 alt text, right: OF COURSE WITH FREE ADVERTISING LIKE THIS, MAYBE NO ONE WILL MIND IF PARTIFUL JUST KEEPS USING THEIR *MILLIONS* TO TALK "VIBES" & “INSPO" & ~CHIPOTLE GIVEAWAYS~ ... BUT MY HOPE IS THE YOUTH WON’T FORGIVE THE WAR SPOILS

image 9 alt text: IF YOU'RE READING THIS ON THE COP APP (INSTA), YOU ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH SURVEILLANCE TECH. IF YOU’VE SEEN / SENT PARTIFUL INVITES, TELL YOUR FRIENDS: PARTIFUL / PALANTIR = COP SHIT …& WE DON'T GIVE OUR NUMBERS TO COPS!!!
